On April 25, 2021, the opening ceremony of the complex of International Association “Turkmen Alabay” took place in the capital, as well as the opening of the Quarantine Center in Ahal velayat with the help of a teleconference, and in the Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary velayats and in Ashgabat, the opening of centers built on the initiative of the President of Turkmenistan.
It is worth noting that during the holidays, the complex of International Association “Turkmen Alabay” was registered by the international organization Alberk QA Academy as a body that implements and maintains the Quality Management System and the Environmental Management System in accordance with the Compliance Standard, and was also awarded special certificates for compliance with the ISO 9001 standard. and ISO 14001: 2015 for dog breeding.
The new facility was built in one of the most beautiful corners of Kopetdag foothills, nature of the area is ideal for these purposes. The complex includes an administrative building, a headquarters building, a checkpoint and a recreation area. There were also two kennel houses, a 20-bed dog building and a 20-bed puppy building, a dog feeding support building, veterinary service departments and an isolation building complex. Of course, all sanitary measures are observed in dog shelters.
In addition, a special area for 1000 seats has been built for watching demonstration performances of dogs. Near it there is a training ground for training dog teams, and an area for passing barriers. There are car parks, including specialized car parks for transporting dogs, technical and other utility rooms.
The purpose of the complex is to ensure the safety and comfort of the dogs, to prevent their escape or injury, to observe and provide appropriate assistance by the veterinarian, to feed the dogs on time, if necessary, to walk in the fresh air, to comply with all the necessary sanitary standards. Later, in Balkan, Dashoguz, Lebap, Mary velayats and Ashgabat city, video communications were sequentially held, which showed the opening of the centers of Turkmen Alabays. As a result of the broad support of our national leader Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov, the implementation of projects to create high-tech centers in all regions, they are equipped with innovative equipment. The total area of each new facility is 1 hectare, including exhibition areas, stands, office buildings for staff, dog nursery premises, storage rooms for 2-6 month old puppies, kennels and dog baths, veterinary offices and isolation wards.
It covers all the requirements for the breeding work of the Alabai, the identification and enhancement of their characteristic features, as well as the conditions for the effective work of selectors, breeders, livestock specialists, veterinarians and other specialists. The centers provided parking, a canteen and other facilities. During the construction, modern building materials were used, which are distinguished by high performance characteristics and environmental friendliness.
