On December 28, 2021, a gratitude meeting was held in the conference hall of the central office of the International Ahal-Teke Horse Breeding Association and the International Association Turkmen alabay dogs. The forum was dedicated to the joyful historical event associated with the signing of the Decree "On the celebration of the holiday of the Turkmen alabay by the  Arkadag President on December 27, 2021.

  One of the important directions of the state policy, implemented by the Hero Arkadag, is the protection of the historical and cultural heritage of our people and its popularization in the world. Comprehensive transformations carried out in this direction determine the development and improvement of work on breeding and selection of Turkmen Alabays. 

  Arkadag President in his magnificent work "Turkmen Alabay" notes that «Alabay is an integral part of the life of our motherland. It is the national treasure created by our ancestors. It is our duty to preserve it and hand it down to our future generations». 

  A vivid evidence of this is the signing of the corresponding document on the celebration of the holiday of the Turkmen alabay every year on the last Sunday of October with the aim of glorifying the Turkmen alabay in the world and the development of the national art of dog breeding.

  Speakers at the thanksgiving meeting noted that the Turkmen alabay for thousands of years was not only an assistant to our people, a reliable guard of their property, but also became their loyal friend. Turkmen Alabay is an inseparable part of our rich cultural heritage. Such primordial traditions of our ancestors as their protection and preservation for future generations find their worthy continuation today.

  The participants of the gratitude meeting expressed deep gratitude to the Arkadag President for the establishment of the holiday of the Turkmen alabay in the national calendar, the conditions and opportunities created for honoring the ancestral traditions, national heritage, as well as for the education and breeding of the Turkmen alabay, which has become a kind of symbol of loyalty, and further popularization of its glory in the world!
